In the early days of the Web, a lot of site discovery happened through pages of links that each site owner would post. Over time, this practice evolved into posting an ongoing journal of the sites an author had discovered. This "web log" is what evolved into the "blog" that became less about sharing new Web destinations and more about personal publishing. Regardless, I hope that the new old Web might return to some of these useful practices, so here are some recommendations I have for you.
