A Quotation

“Finish every day and be done with it. For manners and for wise living it is a vice to remember. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. To-morrow is a new day; you shall begin it well and serenely, and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense. This day for all that is good and fair. It is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment on the rotten yesterdays.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Building

  • For most of the past year, I’ve been working on a game, and it’s finally ready for people to play! I’ll definitely be posting more about the experience, but in the meantime, check out Railroad Ranger over at itch.io.
  • I’ve got a couple other coding experiments in the works, including one in particular I think will likely be ready to launch by the end of the year.

Listening

I’m still finishing up two podcast series that came out in late 2025:

Reading

  • The Adventures of Pinocchio, Carlo Collodi, translated by John Hooper and Anna Kraczyna

Watching

I recently watched Being Eddie, and while it’s definitely a good idea to be skeptical of these sorts of fully-authorized celebrity profile documentaries, I think it’s interesting to see how Eddie Murphy, an entertainer who has been extremely famous for 45 years and counting, wants to portray himself.
